The Dolphin Island Boat Tour is one of the most popular excursions in the Side and Manavgat region. The day combines a scenic cruise along the Manavgat River with swimming stops in the open sea, a freshly prepared lunch on board, a lively foam party and the chance to spot wild dolphins and Caretta Caretta sea turtles in their natural habitat. Tour Program – Step by Step Hotel pick-up: In the morning, at approximately 09:00, you will be picked up from your hotel in an air-conditioned vehicle and driven to the pier on the Manavgat River. The exact pick-up time depends on your hotel location and is confirmed after booking. River cruise: The boat departs from the calm waters of the Manavgat River and cruises slowly towards the open sea. Along the riverbanks you can watch the lush green scenery, traditional wooden boatyards and river turtles sunbathing on the branches. First swimming stop at the river mouth: At the point where the cool, spring-fed river meets the warm Mediterranean Sea, the boat stops for a swimming break. Here you can choose between the refreshing fresh water of the river and the warm salt water of the sea, or walk along the sandy beach. This area is also a natural habitat of sea turtles. Lunch on board: A tasty, freshly prepared lunch is served on the boat. You can choose between grilled chicken or trout, served with pasta and salad. Cruise to Dolphin Island: After lunch the boat sails along the coastline towards the small rocky island known as Dolphin Island. Dolphins are frequently seen in this area, and with a little luck they may swim alongside the boat. Sightings are not guaranteed, as dolphins and turtles are wild animals in their natural environment. Swimming break at the island: Near the island the boat anchors for another swimming break in crystal-clear water, ideal for snorkeling and photos. Foam party and entertainment: On the return journey our animation team hosts a fun foam party with lively music, dancing and entertainment for all ages. Final swimming stop and return: After a last swimming break in the open sea, the boat returns to the pier. You are then driven back to your hotel, arriving in the late afternoon.
